
The project involved the members of at risk segments of society, and indirectly benefits the inhabitants of the 23 selected municipalities.

This project involved the inhabitants of the eight municipalities in Puerto Cabezas and Waspam.

The beneficiary population represents 36% of the rural population on the island and 6.3% of the total population.

The project involved the members of productive cooperatives and their families, and the vulnerable sectors of the population such as children, the elderly, and pregnant women, who will have more access to agricultural products.

The project involved students who present different disabilities related to blindness and deafness, deafness coupled with other disabilities, and mental retardation. At the same time the families and communities close to these students benefited as will the teachers and three schools involved through greater access to refresher courses and training.

This project involvesd boys, girls, and adolescents and their families. School teachers had the possibility to attend specialized training courses, which a vision to converting the current school into a national benchmark for the above-mentioned disabilities.

The project involved agricultural production cooperatives in Viñales in the Pinar del Río province, the cooperatives coordinated by the ANAP and university students from the Province of Granma, as well as cooperatives in the province of Artemisa.

This project involved trainers who participated in various training modules held by experts in the field to the technical personnel of the Center for Promotion and Diffusion of Sustainable Agriculture. The entire rural population of the municipality benefited from this project action.

The entire population of the rural areas involved benefited from the improvement in drinking water access.

The children of the Ravin-Parc community benefited from the construction of the school, and the entire community was involved in awareness activities.

Direct project beneficiaries included the residents of the three communities inside the Nippes Department (l’Asile, Fond des Negres, Paillant), while indirect beneficiaries include the entire urban and rural population of the Nippes Department.
