We promote the rights of every person, striving for gender equality, equitable access to resources, opportunities and autonomy. We deeply believe that every person, if supported, can become agent of their own change.
We encourage girls, boys and young people to take an active part in decision-making processes and advocacy activities, so that they can realise their Right to the future
We address power relations and everyday practices to ensure that change is lasting and structural. We create spaces where women and girls can participate, guide decisions and fully exercise their rights.
Wherever we are present, our goal is clear: to reduce inequalities and ensure that no one is left behind. Because a fairer world is only possible if we build it together.

WeWorld-GVC — WeWorld for short was born from the union of two non-governmental organisations: WeWorld, founded in Milan in 1999, and GVC, established in Bologna in 1971. Discover our history.

We ensure transparent and traceable management of resources to guarantee accountability to the community, staff, partners, insititutional and individual donors. Every year, we report on our work in the Social Report, which describes the activities carried out by the Foundation from 1 January to 31 December and is drawn up in accordance with the principles and guidelines for the preparation of the Social Report of ETS - Third Sector Entities, pursuant to Article 14 of Legislative Decree No. 117/2017.

Our Study Centre produces publications, reports and research, often with unpublished data, on social issues that we work on every day in the field, in Italy and around the world. In November 2020, we became the first Italian member of the ChildFund Alliance, a global network for the defence of children's rights, present in over 65 countries around the world.
