EU Aid Volunteers: Join us!

Through the EU Aid Volunteers initiative, financed by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), you can apply for a unique experience in the humanitarian aid field in different countries throughout Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
 
The initiative is open to all European Citizens or long term residents over 18 years of age

We periodically open selection procedures for volunteers who will work in our local offices in Benin, Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya, Tunisia, Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Cambodia, Lebanon and Palestine

Volunteers will carry out administration tasks, disaster risk management in emergencies, promotion of women’s rights or communication activities of a humanitarian aid project, aiming to guarantee support and increase the resilience of the most vulnerable communities.

Volunteers will receive a monthly subsistence lump sum intended to cover basic needs and local transport. Accommodation, Visa fees, insurance and airfares will be covered.

The complete list of vacancies and requested profiles are published on the DG EAC platform where you can fill out the online application form and a self-assessment questionnaire, as well as attach your Europass CV and cover letter.

Online volunteers complement the EU Aid Volunteers initiative by doing practical tasks – in areas like research, technology, translation or design – that support EU Aid Volunteers projects on the ground to reach more people and make their work more effective. For each online assignment successfully completed, online volunteers receive a certificate of completion. Online volunteering is a way of giving your time by completing a volunteering task through the internet at home, work or university. As online volunteering is done without leaving home, financial support is not provided.
