In 2023, WeWorld launched a partnership with the Education Above All Foundation’s Educate A Child program, with the shared goal of promoting inclusive, quality education for the most vulnerable girls and boys. The project Pamoja Tudumishe Elimu (“Together to Strengthen Education”), active in Kenya and Tanzania, aims to reach over 10,000 at-risk children, ensuring their access to and retention in safe, equitable, and inclusive education.

Through community engagement, teacher training, and support for local schools, we aim to reduce educational inequalities and create more conducive-learning environments. This initiative represents another step forward in our global commitment to the right to education – particularly for girls, children with disabilities, and those living in marginalized or crisis-affected areas.

In 2024, together with the Education Above All Foundation, we reached 11,557 people in vulnerable conditions, 60% of whom were children and adolescents.

The data from our 2024 intervention

In 2024, we have jointly rehabilitated and/or built + 90 educational facilities. We have also supported:

  • 700 teachers and education personnel with increased knowledge to address children's learning needs
  • 10.000 children through the provision of recreational activities
  • 7.000 individuals by way of education and/or child protection-related awareness events

Stories from our project:

Through the projects implemented in partnership with the Education Above All Foundation, we aim to place the stories of the girls, boys, and communities we work with at the center, highlighting the cultural and social nuances of the local context. To do so, we develop communication content in various formats and multiple languages, designed to reach diverse audiences and bring people closer to the realities on the ground.

Showcasing these educational journeys means giving visibility to those who work every day to build a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable future.

The follow are a few examples:
