EDUCATION IS THEIR RIGHT, DON'T TAKE IT AWAY
“Thanks to my parents, I managed to become a nurse. Now, my family and neighbours come to me to seek medical advice. I love helping people and I feel useful to society, that’s why my message to children all over the world is: knowledge is a weapon, if you go to school, you will be able to live your own life, even in the most difficult circumstances.”
These are the words of Souad, a 23-year-old nurse from Bebnine (Akkar). Despite her family’s financial hardship, her parents wanted her to go to school, an opportunity they did not have.
We are encouraging parents to enrol their children in school and give them the opportunity to pursue their life goals and live fruitful lives.
