Our first Social Responsibility Report is online.
In line with previous Activity Reports, it allows us to show the impact of our work, in Italy and worldwide.
The new report meets the guidelines for the preparation of the Third Sector Organizations Annual Report (pursuant to Article 14 of Legislative Decree n. 117/2017) and has a transparency tool - which will evolve over the years - that enables us to present our activities in a more comprehensive way, while involving different actors and partners.

  • To tell the story of 2020 is a difficult undertaking. We are an Italian organization working all over the world, and we have experienced firsthand the effects of the pandemic in the four corners of the earth, which has impacted everyone, exacerbating inequalities even further and weighing more heavily on the most vulnerable communities.

  • WeWorld has been able to face the crisis and carry on with its projects in all the countries where it operates. However, looking to the future, from the background of this past year, it is even clearer what we have to do.

In particular, we have implemented 41 projects in 11 countries, reaching over two and a half million beneficiaries by strengthening access to water and sanitation, training health workers, teachers and educators on prevention and good practices. In Italy, we also supported the work of health workers and local authorities in Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Liguria and Friuli Venezia Giulia and implemented services to support women victims of violence, with a dedicated helpline.
