Learning Out Loud. Atlas on Child-Centred and Transformative Education through the CARES Framework, the fourth volume in WeWorld’s Atlas series, offers a concise global snapshot of the state of education worldwide. Drawing on trusted international data and WeWorld’s long-standing field experience, it highlights the major inequalities, barriers, and risks that continue to prevent millions of children from accessing quality learning globally.

The Atlas introduces WeWorld’s original CARES Framework, which outlines our child‑centred and transformative approach to education. Through its five dimensions – CommunityAccessRightsExpression, and Safety – captured in the acronym of the Framework, it recognises children not as passive recipients but as active agents of change whose voices, rights, and perspectives must shape the learning environments in which they grow.   At its core, the Atlas presents a set of country factsheets covering 13 countries where WeWorld works. Combining data, success stories, and good practices, these insights illustrate how inclusive, protective, and participatory education can drive dignity and equity, enabling every child to exercise their right to education and, ultimately, their right to the future. WeWorld CARES about education by caring about children, teachers, and communities, and by supporting them so that learning environments can become genuine spaces of opportunity.
