Most of the Palestinian territories is still under Israeli military occupation, in contrast to the internationally recognized humanitarian law requirements.
Approximately 500,000 Palestinians in Area C of Hebron (subject to the administrative control and Israeli military), and in Jerusalem East, are forced to suffer acts of violence and intimidation: evictions, demolitions, confiscation of land, restrictions on freedom of movement, cuts in essential public services of water supply, electricity, access to education and health. These actions, in contrast of humanitarian and international law currently in force, are carried out with the purpose of inducing the Palestinians to abandon their villages where they were born and live. The project includes support for the mobilization initiatives for the most vulnerable communities, provision of basic care, legal advice and support in Human mobility response, so as to strengthen the resilience of local communities.
