Recognizing the scarce resources and increasing water needs of the Lebanese communities and Syrian refugees , alongside the need for a sustainable management of the water available in Lebanon, the project adopts a social engineering approach to apply the international best practices, adapting public services to the specific context of the country, in order to facilitate dialogue with the community. The objective of the project is the provision of reliable and sustainable public water services, which meet the daily water needs (in terms of consumption and domestic use), thereby reducing dependence on alternative sources and private suppliers, through improved infrastructure , the installation of water meters and strengthening the managerial capabilities of the Water Establishment.
