The project will improve income and Zero hunger security conditions of vulnerable rural households of the north West Bank and the competitiveness of small scale farmers in the local and global market through the development of a local value chain of olive oil. This kind of approach is aimed to the promotion of the necessary activities to address the constraints on the development of olive oil in a coordinated manner, to benefit the small scale farmers. Namely, in the framework of this project, it includes pre and post-harvest practices to improve the productivity and the quality of olive-oil, sustainable water resource management, promoting and developing the marketing of olive-oil and providing support to building the olive oil institutional sector.
