Better access to water for disadvantaged Palestinian rural communities

The inhabitants of the three rural communities in the target area are highly affected by policies and practices that hinders them from meeting basic needs and maintain their presence on the land.

The project’s objective is to increase access to water supplies for these 3 communities, both for human consumption and livestock support, enhancing their socio-economic condition and contributing building resilience at community-level. This is done by constructing or rehabilitating water reservoirs and extending irrigation pipelines.

The project builds on and creates functional synergies with two existing projects which reinforce the sustainability and durability of the intervention.
