SDGs on film is a global citizenship education project promoted by 4 organisations and implemented thanks to the support of the Ministry of Education, University and Research and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities.
Thanks to the aforementioned project, cinema and audiovisuals are used as educational tools. Travelling in the cinema and with the cinema becomes a rich opportunity to approach various interpretations of the world and its complexity, to talk about interculturality and plural identities.
The active involvement of teachers and students in the activities and their encounter with authors and professionals of the field on the occasion of the planned festivals allows the development of skills and knowledge in the film sector.
The educational kit
The selected thematic films have been included in a multimedia educational kit, which is composed, in addition to the film tool, of a series of interactive educational cards developed from the selected films that promote in-depth studies and laboratory activities.
In the lower and upper secondary schools, the following activities are planned:
- Teacher training: webinar on migration, human rights, intercultural dialogue with the involvement of experts.
- Student training: development of educational paths for students with trainers on the basis of the educational kit produced.
- Festival: screenings for schools, debates with authors and main characters of audiovisual works.
