Il WEWORLD INDEX 2018 è anche in inglese!
È finalmente on line la versione inglese del WeWorld Index 2018.
Il progresso di un paese andrebbe misurato attraverso indicatori economici e sociali analizzando le condizioni di vita dei soggetti più a rischio di esclusione come bambine/i, adolescenti e donne. L’inclusione, nella prospettiva degli Obiettivi di Sviluppo Sostenibile 2030, è multidimensionale, non riguarda solo la sfera economica, ma tutte le dimensioni del sociale (sanitaria, educativa, lavorativa, culturale, politica, informativa, di sicurezza, ambientale). Il WeWorld Index, rispetto ad altri rapporti, mette a fuoco il forte nesso tra diritti dei bambini, delle bambine e parità di genere, elaborando una classifica mondiale; pertanto è uno strumento per conoscere e per agire.
La versione inglese è più corta di quella italiana.
The English version of the WeWorld Index 2018 is finally online.
The WeWorld Index contributes to investigate the life conditions of women and children around the world. The progress of a country should be measured not only by economic indicators, but analyzing the living conditions of the most at risk of exclusion, such as children and women. In the WeWorld Index the concept of "inclusion", inspired by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, is a multidimensional concept. It regards the economic domain and many other social dimensions (health, education, work, culture, politics, access to information, safety, and environment). The WeWorld Index, compared to other reports, highlights the strong link between the rights of children and gender equality, developing a world ranking; therefore it is a tool to know and to act.
