Labour exploitation in the Tuscan countryside: an intersectional gender perspective

This research was carried out within the framework of the project Our Food Our Future (CSO-LA/2020/411-443), co-funded by the European Commission within the DEAR (Development Education and Awareness Raising) Programme, and the project Networked Actions for Sustainable Development, supported by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security. The projects aim to promote a culture of sustainability and the mobilisation of young people in the struggle for social and environmental justice, by promoting alternative and critical models of consumption, socially and environmentally sustainable agri-food supply chains, and full respect for the rights of male and female workers, with particular attention to the groups most vulnerable to labour exploitation.
